Aura Print, a UK-based printing company, ranked European cities based on their popularity in books by studying 25 million literary works from 1920 to 2019 in the Google Books archive.
Their goal was to rank European cities by how often they were mentioned in popular books published during the last century.
Books have the power to shape our travel dreams.
The top five placements might not be surprising, but the last five might be.
