Sisters’ Gift Powers UTA Packaging Innovation

A $250,000 gift from sisters Jana Harris and Jenise Cox is advancing packaging design education at The University of Texas at Arlington’s College of Liberal Arts.

The investment establishes the UTA Packaging Program Endowment, supporting lab materials, equipment purchases, and emerging technologies like augmented and virtual reality.

The gift honors their late father, Joe Harris, and has led to the naming of two spaces in the Department of Art and Art History.
