Luigi Mangione's Prison Experience
Alleged murder suspect Luigi Mangione revealed that he listened to Charli XCX and Taylor Swift's music in prison, stating
"I figured I’d see what all the hype was about".
Mangione, arrested in December for allegedly shooting and killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, has become a cultural phenomenon with a large fan base. He has spent 10 months at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting charges for second-degree murder.
A leaked letter, written by Mangione to an undisclosed recipient, reflects on his 27th birthday, which he celebrated in May.
