Choosing the Right Course at University of Galway

When selecting my course, I sought something combining business and technology interests, finding Business Information Systems (GY206) to be the ideal choice.
This course bridges both worlds, demonstrating how technology drives smarter business decisions and innovation.
First Year Foundations
In my first year, I learned programming, database, and business strategy fundamentals, gaining a strong understanding of how organizations utilize data.
Second Year Explorations
Now in my second year, I am exploring how emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence are transforming the business landscape.

It’s exciting to see how digital tools are reshaping every industry.
I enjoy the practical, hands-on approach of Business Information Systems the most.
