Patrick County High School recently held its National Beta Club induction ceremony, inducting 97 students into the club.
These students were selected for membership based on their academic standing and character, joining more than 500,000 members across the United States and beyond.
National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth group in the United States, promoting the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
Each of the officers read a characteristic of Beta aloud to the inductees, and one of the sponsors, Mrs. Libby Wood, led the inductees through the pledge.
