The Princeton University Art Museum (PUAM) in New Jersey is opening a new 146,000-sq.-ft facility, doubling the size of its former space.
The new museum will display more of its collection of 117,000 works, plus newly commissioned sculptures and installations.
The vision for a comprehensive new museum began years ago, following the completion of the previous museum’s last wing in 1980.
The new facility is located at the heart of the college campus and will open on 31 October.
