Sofidel America Expands Ultra-Premium Tissue Capacity
Sofidel America will invest in a new tissue production line in the United States, featuring a 5.6-meter Through-Air-Dried machine and full automation.
- Annual production capacity: 75,000 tons
- Start-up scheduled for 2028
- Advanced automation and control technologies
The new tissue line is optimized for fiber savings and improved product quality, with Valmet as the equipment supplier.
Valmet’s delivery scope includes a complete tissue production line with Mill Engineering and stock preparation equipment, using an Advantage ThruAir 200 machine.
