The Sixers appeared to finally run out of energy, but Adem Bona made a difference.
It seemed like their first loss of the season was inevitable, given their exhaustion from a back-to-back game and the Washington Wizards' high field goal percentage, led by Alex Sarr and Kyshawn George.
Joel Embiid led the team with 25 points, but his minutes restriction forced him out of the game with seven minutes left, leaving the Sixers trailing by nine.
Adem Bona refused to let that happen.
