Foreign Ministers of Belarus and Hungary Discuss Eastern European Issues
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported on a meeting between Maxim Ryzhenkov and Peter Szijjarto, where they exchanged views on key international issues.
Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov met with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto to discuss countering threats in Eastern Europe, on the sidelines of the Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
The main topic of the meeting was the implementation of the decisions reached during the 13th meeting of the Belarusian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
The parties discussed challenges and threats in the Eastern European region and ways to resolve them. Ryzhenkov also met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov the day before.
