The author has a fondness for spooky movies, especially during this time of year, and tries to watch as many as possible, but tends to avoid films that rely solely on shock value, which is why he hasn't watched the Terrifier movies.
The Terrifier films, featuring a clown named Art, originated from short segments in the anthology All Hallows' Eve and developed a strong cult following, with the sequel grossing $15 million on a $250,000 budget and the third installment making $90 million on a $2 million budget.
However, upon learning about a particular infamous scene where a woman is reportedly suspended upside down and cut in half, the author's interest in the movies vanished.
