Jermaine Minter Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison
Jermaine Minter, a 42-year-old man from Dickinson, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges involving a minor.
- Six Class A misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure to a minor via electronic means
- One Class C felony count of sexual assault of a victim ages 15 to 18
- One Class A felony count of promoting or directing an obscene sexual performance by a minor
Minter initially pleaded not guilty to all 8 counts, but later changed his plea to guilty on all charges.
The case was prosecuted by Stark County State’s Attorney Amanda Englestad, and Minter was represented by public defender Jodi Lynn Collinger.
For the six misdemeanor charges, Minter received the maximum one-year prison term for each count.
