Harley Pearce, the 21-year-old son of former England football captain Stuart Pearce, was killed in a single-vehicle collision on the A417 Old Birdlip Hill in Witcombe.
Emergency services were called at around 2:30pm on Thursday, October 16, with a report of a collision involving a tractor. Harley, from Marlborough in Wiltshire, died at the scene.
His family described him as being ‘a golden boy with an infectious smile’.
Stuart Pearce, a renowned former English footballer and manager, spent most of his playing career at Nottingham Forest under Brian Clough, captaining the team and earning over 400 appearances. He also won 78 caps for England.
