A quiet and mild morning is expected across Kansas, with temperatures in the 50s and 60s rising to the upper 70s and lower 80s in the afternoon under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
Friday's forecast includes high temperatures in the lower 80s, strong winds from the south, and a chance of showers and strong storms. A slow-moving cold front will sweep across Kansas, bringing storms to western Kansas in the evening, followed by a second line of showers and storms on Friday evening and night.
