KABAR Mark 98 Gets 2025 Sequel
KA-BAR has released a spiritual successor to the Mark 98, a flipper knife in their lineup for several years, called the Mark 25.
The Mark 25 features a refined design, different color scheme, and higher-performance blade steel, with D2 steel replacing the 5Cr15MoV steel on the 98.
The Mark 98 was first released in 2018 as the first modern flipper folder by KABAR, aiming for accessibility with a sub-$100 price tag.
The Mark 25's 3.75-inch drop point blade makes it suitable for various tasks, and the upgrade to D2 steel is a notable improvement.
The D2 steel on the Mark 25 is an indisputable performance upgrade, and a particularly good fit for a mid-size cutter like the 25.
