A compelling and groundbreaking film about Irish emigrant women is set to hit the big screen. The upcoming feature, Bad Bridgets, is directed by BAFTA-winning Rich Peppiatt and draws inspiration from the acclaimed book Bad Bridget: Crime, Mayhem, and the Lives of Irish Emigrant Women.
The original book was authored by Professor Elaine Farrell from Queen’s University’s School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics, alongside Professor Leanne McCormick from the School of Arts & Humanities at Ulster University.
