Finance Minister: Romania No Longer Risks Losing EU Funding
According to Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare, Romania is no longer at risk of losing EU funding for 2026.
"we are now in another reality" after the new government took the necessary steps in the past 100 days
Minister Nazare made this statement upon returning from the October 9-10 EcoFin meeting. Romania will send the Medium-Term Structural Fiscal Budget Plan to the European Commission on October 15.
The plan has been revised to include the impact of the first and second packages of reforms.
