Rare LS Lowry Works at Auction
Rare works by artist LS Lowry are expected to fetch millions at an upcoming auction.
- Going To The Match (1928): valued between £2 million and £3 million
- Industrial Landscape (1957): valued between £250,000 and £350,000
- Bourton-On-The-Water (1947) and A Footbridge (1938): both valued between £400,000 and £600,000
Last year, Senhouse Street, a painting of Maryport, sold for over £800,000 at a London auction.
LS Lowry had a long affiliation with Maryport and Cumbria.
