West Virginia University President to Deliver First State of the University Address
West Virginia University President Michael T. Benson will deliver his first State of the University address on Monday at 3 p.m. from the Fitzsimmons Event Hall at the WVU College of Law.
The speech will be part of the Faculty Senate meeting, where Benson will discuss his vision for WVU's future.
"Bold futures start here. Where pride runs deep, success is earned, and life-changing experiences prepare Mountaineers to lead in West Virginia and the world. Let's go!"
Benson has been at the helm of the university since July and has traveled dozens of West Virginia counties as part of his "Welcome Home" tour.
