Mass Shooting at South Carolina Bar
At least 20 people were hurt and 4 killed in a shooting at a crowded bar on St. Helena Island, South Carolina.
Hundreds of people were at the bar, Willie’s Bar and Grill, when the shooting occurred. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office reported that the incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. on October 12, 2025.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple reports of a shooting that occurred at Willie’s Bar and Grill, 7 Dr. Upon arriving at the scene deputies made contact with a large crowd of people, several of which were suffering from gunshot wounds.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the mass shooting, where multiple victims and witnesses sought shelter at nearby businesses and properties.
