Tragedy in Staffordshire: Two Children Die at Home

A murder arrest has been made after two children died at a home in Staffordshire.

A local resident, Luke Browne, 61, who owns a book shop, witnessed a forensic van and a police car parked outside the home as he left for work on Sunday morning.

“Children dying is a horror” and “It’s very sad. It’s quite painful to hear it,”

said Browne, who added that everyone he has met in the area has been lovely, despite only living there for a year.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that two ambulances and two paramedics were sent to the scene just after 7.25am, but unfortunately, nothing could be done to save the children.

“On arrival of ambulance staff we discovered two patients, both children. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save them and they were confirmed dead at the scene,”

said a spokesman for the ambulance service.
