Introduction of Toyota Land Cruiser FJ Model
The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ model has been introduced as a more affordable option in the lineup.
According to Toyota, the FJ model is designed to be an entry-level version of the Land Cruiser, with a platform shared with the current retro-look Land Cruiser 250, but with a shorter wheelbase of 270mm.
The FJ model has four doors, unlike the old short-wheelbase Land Cruiser, which had two doors.
- Length: 4.5 meters
- Wheelbase: 270mm shorter than the Land Cruiser 250
- Engine: 2.7-litre petrol engine with a six-speed automatic gearbox
Toyota says the FJ now stands for Freedom & Joy.
The cabin of the FJ model features twin digital screens and physical buttons, similar to the existing Land Cruiser.
