Munster A Side Named for Interprovincial Opener
The Munster A side has been named for Saturday's Interprovincial Series opener against Leinster A at Ollie Campbell Park.
There have been 61 appearances for senior and Academy players for their clubs in the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Challenge Cup and All Ireland League in the early weeks of the season.
Evan O'Connell captains the side, which includes eight senior players: Shay McCarthy, Fionn Gibbons, Tony Butler, Mark Donnelly, Kieran Ryan, Conor Ryan, and Roman Salanoa.
Notably, Roman Salanoa made his return after a long-term injury for Nenagh Ormond last weekend and is included among the replacements.
Eleven Academy players have been named in the matchday squad.
