WWE Releases Wes Lee and Others
Former NXT North American Champion and Tag Team Champion Wes Lee has been released by WWE, along with several other superstars.
Other publicly announced departures from NXT include Stevie Turner, Jamar Hampton, Drako Knox, and Lance Anoa’i.
- Wes Lee, who joined WWE in 2020, had a notable reign as NXT North American Champion from October 2022 to July 2023.
- He also held the NXT Tag Team Championship twice alongside Zachary Wentz as MSK in 2021 and 2022.
- Lee was recently the leader of High Ryze, joined by Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.
