Federal prosecutors in Maryland are preparing to ask a grand jury to indict John Bolton, President Donald Trump's former advisor, on Thursday.
According to ABC News, the indictment is related to the alleged mishandling of classified documents. An FBI raid of Bolton's office on August 22 discovered a trove of documents, including those related to weapons of mass destruction and the US mission to the United Nations.
Bolton served as National Security Adviser during Trump's first term from 2018 to 2019.
