Trainee Lawyer Disqualified for Aiding Fugitive Brother
A trainee property lawyer, Husna Khan, 30, has been disqualified from working for law firms after helping her brother evade prosecution for murder.
Khan and her sister Farah, 29, were jailed for two years and six months in 2023 for assisting an offender in a murder case.
- Her brother, Khayam Khurshid, was convicted of murder and sentenced to 27 years in jail.
- Khan's employer, ONP, was unaware of her arrest and conviction until August 2024.
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) published a notice regarding Khan's disqualification.
