Mosquito Spraying Schedule Update in Great Bend
The City of Great Bend has announced three additional rounds of mosquito spraying for this month, starting on the 23rd.
The spraying will take place between 8 p.m. and midnight, and residents are advised to wait 30 minutes to an hour before going outside after the fogging is completed in their area.
Two vehicles will be used, one on the east side and one on the west side of town, with alternating coverage each session.
In case of heavy rain, the fogging schedule will be adjusted, as spraying is not recommended in wet conditions.
The City will adapt and release alternate spraying dates if needed.
The City of Great Bend will continue to monitor mosquito activity and add further spraying dates if necessary.
