Charges Upgraded to First-Degree Murder in Jefferson City Shooting
Michael A. Davis, 40, has had his charges upgraded to First-Degree Murder by the Cole County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, as announced on Tuesday morning.
Davis is accused of shooting two people in Cole County. The victims, Shawna Davis, 39, and Sofie Mulcahey, 31, both from Jefferson City, were taken to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia after the shooting, where they both died from their injuries.
