Emmerson Larson is this week's "Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week." He is number one in his class at Willow Lake school in South Dakota.

Emmerson's counselor, Meghan Nelson, has been teaching him since sixth grade and praises his high-achieving nature and willingness to do extra work.

Emmerson is a captain on both the football and basketball teams and plans to attend college in Watertown after high school.
