A petition has been launched against mandatory military service by the president of Fidelitas.
“We cannot let outsider Tisza politicians decide our fate!”
Istvan Mohacsy, president of Fidelitas, stated that the Tisza Party's consideration of drafting Hungarian youth into military service is alarming, as they are a Brussels-funded, pro-war party.
“For us, Hungarian young people, the stakes of the election are simple: do we want to die for Zelensky’s Ukraine?”
The petition was announced at a press conference held at the Budaors military cemetery, a location chosen to represent what the youth group does not want.
