Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading airline, is enhancing its fleet this December by entering into a damp lease agreement with Bulgaria Air to address the anticipated surge in passenger demand during the peak travel season.

Details of the Agreement

CEB has signed a contract with Bulgaria Air for two Airbus A320 CEO aircraft. These planes will operate four domestic routes from Manila to Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro between December 2025 and January 2026. Each leased A320ceo will accommodate 180 passengers.

Bulgaria Air, the national airline of the Republic of Bulgaria, brings extensive experience in aircraft damp leasing with global airline partners. Under this agreement, Bulgaria Air will supply the aircraft, pilots, maintenance, and insurance, while Cebu Pacific will deploy its own cabin crew.

“We are continuously exploring ways to expand our fleet and ensure operational resilience,” said Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao. “Our damp lease agreement with Bulgaria Air will allow us to meet strong travel demand from December 2025 to January 2026.”
