Cebu Pacific Showcases the Philippines in Tokyo with Two-Day Pop-Up

This event supported the airline’s inbound tourism campaign, “Fly to Your Happy Philippines,” designed to attract more Japanese tourists to explore the country’s famous islands and attractions.

“Japan is a key market for us, and we continue to see strong growth in travel between our countries,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer, at a press conference in Tokyo. “Through this campaign, we hope to encourage more Japanese travelers to visit the Philippines and experience its diverse destinations, while making their journey affordable and enjoyable with Cebu Pacific.”

Flight Operations Between Japan and the Philippines

Cebu Pacific operates direct flights from five major Japanese cities—Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka (Kansai), Sapporo, and Tokyo (Narita)—to destinations in the Philippines including Cebu, Clark, and Manila. As the largest Philippine carrier serving Japan, the airline plans to increase flight frequencies to selected Japanese destinations in the last quarter of 2025 to meet rising traveler demand.
