The Pittsburgh Steelers currently lead the AFC North largely due to the veteran leadership and experience on their roster, particularly on defense. Edge rusher TJ Watt, one of the team’s most seasoned and decorated players, recognizes true talent when he sees it. With 113 career sacks and a Defensive Player of the Year title, Watt’s praise holds significant weight.
In a recent media session, Watt spoke highly of teammate Jalen Ramsey, a former Super Bowl champion with a decade of NFL experience.
"A guy that's done everything in the National Football League you possibly can do and he's still so hungry. A guy that's playing phenomenal football. He brings just a tenacious outlook on football and how he plays the game. That speaks to the culture, getting hats on the ball, playing with swag, all of the stuff that Jalen does."
Despite being 31 years old, Ramsey remains dynamic on defense, continually demonstrating his competitive edge and energy.
Both players contribute significantly to the Steelers' position atop the division.
TJ Watt credits Jalen Ramsey’s unwavering hunger and tenacious defense as key factors driving the Steelers’ strong 2025 season performance.
