The season’s final Grand Slam of Curling event, the GSOC Tahoe Final, brings together teams from Canada, Switzerland, and Scotland. The championship match takes place after a week of intense competition at one of the sport's most significant tournaments.
This year introduces a notable shift: instead of the usual National tournament for the 2025–26 season, the GSOC Tahoe Final serves as the concluding event. The National, first established in 2002 for men’s curling and expanded in 2015 to include women’s teams, will be absent from the calendar this season.
In last year’s competition, Bruce Mouat of Scotland claimed the men’s title, while Canada’s Rachel Homan triumphed in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The GSOC Tahoe Final marks a new milestone, as it is the first major Grand Slam of Curling event hosted outside Canada.
The final is set in Stateline, Nevada, on the southeastern shore of Lake Tahoe, making it a striking venue for the season’s closing match.
