Stormy conditions persist with more storms forecasted through the weekend. Unlike typical falls marked by fewer but stronger storms, this year brings frequent, smaller storms along B.C.'s south coast, limiting clear, crisp days.
Environment Canada meteorologist Brian Proctor describes the Lower Mainland as experiencing «довольно типичную осеннюю погоду», with regular precipitation and few breaks. Currently, a frontal system continues to deliver waves of moisture to Vancouver Island and southern B.C.
A rainfall warning is active for the North Shore, where a second frontal system could add 30 to 40 mm of precipitation by Friday morning. Proctor noted,
«We'll see some decent 30 km/h winds gusting to 50 km/h and up to 70 km/h in the Strait of Georgia,» warning that strong gusts may cause power outages.
Expect water accumulation on roads and low-lying areas, increasing travel hazards.
The region faces persistent wet weather with frequent storms and gusty winds, causing rainfall warnings and possible power outages.
Author's note: The ongoing pattern of steady, smaller storms continues to shape a damp and windy fall, challenging residents to adapt to unpredictable weather conditions.
