During a timeout in the third quarter at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, former Ole Miss pole vaulter Drew O’Connor appeared on the turf to kick a field goal as part of an on-field promotion. Instead, he surprised everyone by proposing to his girlfriend, Madison Barnette, who had joined him as the holder.
