A serious collision involving four vehicles caused major disruption on the M25 near Watford, leading to delays of up to an hour. The anti-clockwise carriageway was fully closed within Junction 20, near the A41 interchange.
As of 8:30 p.m., National Highways reported delays lasting around 50 minutes, with traffic being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads at Junction 20.

Earlier in the evening, congestion was reported to stretch approximately five miles, extending back toward the M1. Emergency services, including Hertfordshire Police and the East of England Ambulance Service, were in attendance.
“We are currently dealing with a high volume of traffic on the M25 anticlockwise at Junction 20 (Watford/Kings Langley) following a road traffic collision. We ask drivers to please avoid the area at this time,” said a police spokesperson.
