Big Brother boosts 10

The return of Big Brother delivered a strong result for Network 10, ranking second in its timeslot and improving the network’s audience share. The show’s season launch at Dreamworld drew 774,000 viewers despite rainy conditions.

While My Kitchen Rules dominated the entertainment category with 1.01 million viewers nationwide, Big Brother still outperformed The Golden Bachelor, which attracted 708,000 viewers for Nine, followed by Spicks & Specks on 361,000.

Big Brother also led key demographics in the 16–39 and 25–54 age groups. It positioned itself as one of Network 10’s most successful 2025 launches, rivalled only by I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

Other network results

Seven won the overall Sunday ratings, but Network 10 reported its best audience share in months. SBS listings for the night included SBS World News, JFK: One Day in America, The Castle: Rebuilding History, and Watergate: High Crimes in the White House.
