The Vancouver Canucks have officially parted ways with winger Vitali Kravtsov. General Manager Patrik Allvin announced on Tuesday that the 25-year-old Russian player was placed on unconditional waivers to facilitate contract termination.
Kravtsov arrived at Vancouver’s training camp in Penticton, British Columbia, before being assigned to the Abbotsford Canucks, the team's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. There, he contributed one goal and three assists over 10 games.
The Canucks acquired Kravtsov from the New York Rangers in February 2023. However, he spent most of the last two seasons playing for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
