The Vancouver Giants mounted a late push with three goals in the third period, but the Seattle Thunderbirds had already secured an insurmountable lead on Saturday night at the accesso ShoWare Center in Washington.
Seattle defeated Vancouver 7–3, extending the Giants’ record to 8-10-0-1, while the Thunderbirds improved to 7-8-1-0. Vancouver entered the final frame trailing 5–0 before Ty Halaburda, Aaron Obobaifo, and Adam Titlbach each scored to narrow the gap.
The Giants will next host the Everett Silvertips on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre, followed by a matchup against Edmonton next Saturday.
