Newcastle Jets have confirmed that goalkeeper Ally Boertje will remain with the club for the 2025–26 Ninja A-League season. The local talent first joined the Jets ahead of the 2024–25 campaign after representing New Lambton and Warners Bay in the NNSW NPL.
During the 2025 NSW NPL season, Boertje made 14 appearances for the Jets’ Youth Team, earning valuable experience and recognition.
“I’m very honoured to be a part of this club again. I loved every moment of last season,” said Boertje. “With the Newcastle Jets being my home club, I’m really excited to see what the team will bring this year.”
Head coach Stephen Hoyle praised her dedication and potential, highlighting the benefits of training alongside senior goalkeepers.
“We are extremely happy to have Ally back with us for the upcoming season. She’s a great character and a talented young goalkeeper. Working with Claire Coelho and Anna Leat every day will help her take big steps forward throughout the year,” said Hoyle.
