Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson has spoken openly about his sluggish beginning to the 2025-26 NHL season and how he feels one month into the campaign.
Pettersson, originating from Sundsvall, Sweden, entered the season determined to improve after a disappointing previous year where he scored only 45 points—his second-lowest total so far in his NHL career.
Despite recording ten points this season, his overall play has not met expectations. Notably, he is shooting the puck far less frequently than earlier in his career, which raises some concerns.
"All summer long, Elias Pettersson said that he was going to be better this season and that he was 'out for revenge' after registering just 45 points last year."
Pettersson remains committed to enhancing his performance and doing whatever is necessary to help the Canucks secure victories consistently.
