Extra Capacity on Metlink Services for Wellington Phoenix Game Day
Greater Wellington Te Pane Matua Taiao announces additional capacity on Metlink trains and larger buses for fans attending the Wellington Phoenix double header at Sky Stadium on Saturday, 8 November.
Match Schedule
- Women’s season opener: Wellington Phoenix vs Canberra United at 4pm
- Men’s derby: Wellington Phoenix vs Auckland FC at 7pm
Transport Services
Standard Saturday timetables will operate on all train lines. Extra services will run on the Hutt Valley and Johnsonville lines after the games, but there will be no additional trains on the Kapiti line.
Core bus routes will provide increased capacity. The East-by-West ferry service will run according to its normal schedule.
