Harvard football has made a historic leap, securing the No. 9 spot in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top 25 rankings, the highest position ever achieved by the program. The Crimson continue their dominant performance in the Ivy League, winning all seven of their games by at least three touchdowns.
This week, Harvard also ranked 13th in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Poll, marking their best placement there since at least 2011. The team’s undefeated 7-0 record was cemented after a commanding 31-10 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday.
Harvard remains the sole unbeaten team in the Ivy League, while archrivals Yale and Penn hold records of 5-2. The Crimson have not yet faced either team, with Penn set to visit Harvard on November 15, followed by the 141st edition of “The Game” against Yale in New Haven on November 22.
This ranking is especially notable as Ivy League teams are now eligible for the FCS playoffs for the first time this season. Harvard aims to extend its winning streak to eight games in an away matchup against Columbia on Friday night.
