Highlights from the Press Reception
Ambassador Huang presented the outcomes of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. She provided a detailed overview of China’s achievements throughout the 14th Five-Year Plan period and outlined the key goals for the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan.
She emphasized that China solemnly commemorated the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, establishing the Commemoration Day of Taiwan’s Restoration to remember history, honor heroes, cherish peace, and build a better future.
She encouraged Mauritius to closely follow China’s development and the progress of China-Mauritius relations. Ambassador Huang called for active Mauritian support of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the four major global initiatives, urging Mauritius to strengthen its role in China-Africa cooperation.
