After exploring extraordinary Maserati, Lancia, and Lamborghini models in Italy, Austria, and Australia, we return to France. Vincent Lagache, a hill-climb racer from Vy-lès-Lure (Haute-Saône), competed for years in VHC (historic competition vehicles), including driving R5 Turbos, before switching to modern cars.
Since 2009, Vincent has worked as an automotive restorer and never hid his passion for Italian cars. This passion led him to acquire a Ferrari 458 Challenge for the 2016 season. After a period in VHC racing, he returned in 2023 to the modern GTTS/Production category with a custom-built Ferrari F430, uniquely renamed "F430 GTO" in tribute to the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO.
"The regulations allowed us to develop this car, which dates back to 2008, but on which we can make numerous modifications."
The hill-climb regulations gave Vincent the liberty to extensively modify the car. In 2022, he competed in the French Mountain Cup Final with this Ferrari F430. Knowing he needed to dismantle it, Vincent saw an opportunity to transform it into a more advanced machine. After reviewing the rules, he proceeded with significant changes.
This tailored approach reflects Vincent Lagache's dedication to pushing the boundaries within hill-climb racing.
