'Volatile' stalker left GP living in fear in terrifying eight-month ordeal

‘Volatile’ Stalker Leaves Former GP Living in Fear During Eight-Month Ordeal

David Taylor, formerly of Tarbolton Crescent, Hale, began an eight-month campaign of stalking in August last year after being barred from his former GP's practice. The 56-year-old's behavior had become aggressive and alarming on the premises, leading to his placement on the practice's barred list.

After being blocked from contacting the GP directly, Taylor sought her business profile page and sent messages. Despite being blocked again, he used a different account to request his medical records be transferred to a new GP.

As Taylor’s persistence grew, the victim increasingly feared for her safety and repeatedly blocked his attempts to communicate. He then escalated his harassment by posting inappropriate comments on her business Facebook page.

The situation turned more frightening on March 26 when the victim unexpectedly found Taylor at her home in Knutsford, asking to speak with her. Shocked, she closed the door, contacted her husband, and called 999.

"With Taylor knowing where she and her family lived, the victim was left living in fear and no longer felt able to live her life normally."
