Italian public transport operator Seta has become the first to implement and use Conduent’s next-generation DOT1 ticket vending machine. The system is being deployed across the central provinces of Modena, Reggio Emilia, and Piacenza.
According to Conduent, this initiative represents a major step in the digital transformation of Seta’s ticketing services, which support around 77 million passengers annually. The DOT1 system is a compact, multimedia-equipped kiosk offering greater accessibility and flexibility for passengers.
With its multimedia functionality, DOT1 also allows operators to generate new advertising revenue through personalized content from local partners, companies, or brands seeking to reach public transport users.
“Conduent said that the implementation marks a significant step in the digitalisation of Seta’s ticketing services for its 77 million passengers.”
Conduent’s DOT1 system modernizes Seta’s regional transport network with digital ticketing, integrated payments, and enhanced service connectivity across Italy’s central provinces.
