Philippe Brégeon was a planner, but meeting his wife was accidental. He met Christina Reed over a decade ago in Paris while bar-hopping with mutual friends.
“The Mona Lisa wouldn’t normally be romantic,” Reed said, “but Phil made it romantic.”
Brégeon died unexpectedly in late August after falling off a scooter in DC, experiencing irreversible brain damage. His kidneys and liver were donated, and his heart will be used for research.
Brégeon often described himself as a “scale-upper” and was known for his love of adventure and connection.
