Calgary's Poppy Campaign Supports Veterans Before Remembrance Day

Poppies and related merchandise to support veterans are available in stores, legions, and online, including through the Royal Canadian Legion's Amazon store. This includes items such as lapel pins, magnets, and poppy flowers.

For the second year, the Royal Canadian Legion has operated an Amazon store offering these items in honour of Remembrance Day on November 11.

“The Poppy Campaign is the legion’s most significant fundraising effort, with 100 per cent of proceeds going directly to support Canada’s veterans and their families.”

The campaign, which started on a Friday, will continue until Remembrance Day. Albertans can also obtain pins by donating at traditional poppy boxes found throughout the province, including at TD banks.

Reviews and recommendations of the merchandise are unbiased, and products are independently selected. Postmedia may receive an affiliate commission from purchases made through the provided links.
