U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff announced that a new nation will join the Abraham Accords, marking another step toward normalized relations between Israel and a Muslim-majority country.
“A new country will be announced on Thursday night as joining the Abraham Accords,” Witkoff said during a business forum in Florida.
He added that he planned to return to Washington for the official announcement but did not reveal the nation's name.
